The drive from Mackinaw City to Holland covers 260 miles down the western side of Michigan. You will take US-131 South to Grand Rapids, then transition to I-196 West toward the coast. The trip takes approximately 4 hours of driving time. This route is highly scenic as you move from the northern forests toward the tulip-filled city of Holland. It is a popular route for tourists visiting the Lake Michigan shoreline.
