The journey from Portsmouth to Burlington is a 200-mile drive across New Hampshire and into Vermont. You will travel west on NH-101 and then north on I-89, passing through the White Mountains and the Green Mountains. The drive takes approximately 3.5 to 4 hours. This route is exceptionally scenic, especially during the autumn foliage season.
